Writing the First Draft of our Lesson


 

First of all, thanks to Susan, Charles, John, Billy and Josh for their work on coming up with our first and second drafts.

 

Josh modeled this lesson on Wednesday, April 2nd afternoon class. In attendance were Josh, Susan, Gerry, John, Billy, Louise, and Mark.

 

 

After a few preliminary activities - during which it was determined that the class of 10 students had seven left-thumbed people - students worked on the following opportunity in pairs:

 

“A survey of a previous class showed that they had  20 Left-thumbers and 15 Right-thumbers. Is our class more or less “Left-thumbed” than the previous class? Give evidence for your answer."
